We have been working as co-mediators for over 15 years, offering a unique blend of legal and mediation training, experience and sensitivity.

We believe that separation and divorce can be one of the most difficult situations that people experience. Mediation is an effective process to resolve differences and reach agreements. We help demystify the separation and divorce process by providing a structured approach and key information to assist people to make the best decisions for themselves.

A prenuptial mediation process can also be very helpful for people who are entering marriage or a cohabitation relationship. People often avoid talking about financial issues as it might be viewed as rather unromantic and as a lack of commitment to the relationship. During prenuptial mediation we facilitate discussion on the financial and other issues relevant to the couple. Often this discussion strengthens the trust between the parties.

Comprehensive Mediation

We provide comprehensive mediation for a divorce or a prenuptial agreement. Our combined professional training and experience in law, social work and mediation, helps individuals explore and reach agreement on all family and financial issues that need to be addressed.

The Cost

The hourly fee is $190.00 including any taxes. The average number of hours for a mediation is 6-8 hours. Both of us are present during each session.

Our Ottawa mediation office is centrally located at Slater and Kent, and is easily accessible.
